The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary to arrive in Latvia for a working visit

On 10 January 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, will be in Latvia on a working visit.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edgars Rinkēvičs, in a conversation with his Hungarian colleague will be discussing bilateral cooperation, security policy, relations with neighbouring countries and issues high on the European Union agenda. The Ministers will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Enhanced Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

During his visit, the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade will meet with the Minister of Economy, Ralfs Nemiro, and the Director of the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, Jānis Sārts.
