On 15 September, Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will arrive in Riga to present the Economic Survey of Latvia. The survey is to assess the economic situation in Latvia, the implementation of key reforms and recommendations offered in the previous report, as well as providing new recommendations.
As part of his visit, OECD Secretary-General will meet with Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis.
The OECD is producing comprehensive economic surveys of its member countries on a regular basis. The first survey of Latvia was published in February 2015.
The presentation will be available to watch online on the OECD and the Ministry of Economics websites from 9.30 to 12.00 on 15 September. After the presentation, the Economic Survey of Latvia will be posted here.
