Foreign Ministry welcomes agreement on settlement of political crisis in Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia welcomes the agreement achieved in Kyiv on 21 February between the opposition and the President of Ukraine on the settlement of the political crisis in the country. The Ministry expresses hope that the commitments voiced in the text of the agreement will be closely followed and the agreement will put an end to the violence in the country while forming the basis for further dialogue in the name of a thriving and democratic Ukraine.
