On 17 April, already the third Ukrainian who had been treated in Riga for injuries sustained in protests returned to his home country. Meanwhile, two more injured Ukrainians are arriving to receive medical treatment in Latvia. To support those who were wounded during protests in Kyiv in January and February, Latvia continues providing them with medical assistance and rehabilitation services. From February to mid-April, this kind of assistance has been or is still being provided to six persons, including police officers. Patients from Ukraine are undergoing treatment at Pauls Stradiņš University Hospital, the hospital of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics, and Vaivari Rehabilitation Centre.
