POOLS:
Because of space limitations special pool credentials will be required for coverage of events. Some of the pools are filled and closed. Nevertheless, it will be possible to apply to a number of pools on the first come, first served basis starting with the opening of the Media Centre at the Information desk on Friday, May 6. Please, be aware that some of the pools will take place at the same time and due to the space and security restrictions, the number of the media representatives on the pools is very limited. Therefore it will not be possible to accommodate all requests.
Media representatives wishing to cover events and being part of the pool will be transported from Kongresa Nams. The meeting point for the pools will be at the Main entrance of Kongresa Nams. The information on the pools and their departure times will be available at the Media Centre.
Media will not be permitted to arrive independently to venues for coverage!
PROGRAMME:
The press conference with H.E. Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga, President of Latvia, will take place on Friday, 6 May at 15:00 at the President's Castle. In order to participate at the press conference media representatives need to receive accreditation for the events of the US President's visit and to present the special media badge, which will be obtainable upon accreditation at the Media Accreditation Centre. This event will be open to all media representatives, however the pool will be limited. Please, register your participation at the Press conference at the Media Centre on May 6, 2005 till 14:00.
