Internship opportunities at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the UN, OSCE and other International Organisations in Vienna

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the UN, OSCE and other International Organisations in Vienna offers internship opportunities to students and volunteers studying in Austria.

The internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic mission of Latvia, as well as insight into the day-to-day work of international organisations in Vienna.

Internship opportunities are offered year-round and terms are individually agreed. After the end of the internship the Permanent Representation may issue a recommendation (in Latvian and/or English).

Please note – the trainee must be a citizen of an EU or NATO membr state. Remuneration and residence are not provided to the trainee. 

The desired duration of the internship shall be at least one month. The trainee must possess very good knowledge of English (at least level B2), and skills in working with Microsoft Office software.
