Flower-laying ceremony in Vestre Cemetery, Copenhagen

Celebrating the centenary of Latvian-Danish diplomatic relations and in connection with the working visit of Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edgars Rinkēvičs, to Copenhagen, on June 4, 2021, the Latvian Embassy in Denmark organized a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Latvian refugees in Vestre Cemetery in Copenhagen. The Foreign Minister laid flowers and unveiled an information board in English on the origin and significance of the monument in relation to the fate of Latvian refugees in Denmark.
