Security Measures

Please be aware that most of the Old City and some central parts of Riga will be included in the restricted area. In case you have your accommodation especially in the Old City, you have to ask your hotel/rental agency to inform the Security services about you staying in their premises. A Hotel/rental agency has to provide to you a letter confirming that you are staying at their hotel/apartment. Please, be aware that in addition to this letter you have to carry with you your media badge and personal ID, which should be produced at any time upon request of security personnel. No use of personal transportation will be allowed in the Old City.
