Diversity is beautiful!

Equality and non-discrimination are core values of the European Union. Our quest for equality is motivated by a shared concern for human dignity. Striving for equality of all in access to participation in economic, political, social and cultural life is our common goal.

IDAHOT is another opportunity to remind ourselves that diversity is beautiful, equality is a universal aspiration and love has no borders and comes in many forms. Marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, the High Representative Josep Borrell of the EU made a statement underlying that the EU will continue to combat discrimination against LGBTI persons.
