On May 11, the Embassy took part in a Europe day event in Mongolia's capital, Ulan-Bator with the national stand of Latvia.
Diplomats of the Latvian Embassy informed the guests of the stand and representatives of local media about the work of the Embassy, tourism and study opportunities in Latvia. Booklets from Riga Technical University, Riga Stradins University, and the University of Latvia were widely available at the stall.
Visitors to the stand took part in an impromptu spinning of Wheel of Fortune, answering questions about geography, nature, history and culture of Latvia, as well as enjoying Latvian sweets.
