Visit of the Latvian Post (Latvijas Pasts) Delegation to China

On 9 March at the Latvian Embassy in Beijing Ambassador Kārlis Eihenbaums held a meeting with Delegation of the Latvian Post: Mr Kristiāns Godiņš, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International Services Business Unit and Mr Armands Znotiņš, Head of E-Commerce and Logistics Operations. Ambassador Eihenbaums informed about developments in relations between Latvia and China and expressed support for the development of bilateral economic relations, especially in the rapidly growing sphere of e-commerce. Ambassador Eihenbaums and representatives of the Latvian Post met with the leadership of China's State Post Bureau, and also including the Director of China's Ministry of Commerce's European Department. On 10 March Ambassador and Delegation were visiting the JD Group (JD.com) headquarters in Beijing.

Representatives of the Latvian Post visited Temu in Shanghai, where they signed further co-operation documents and visited the Alibaba Group (AliExpress) headquarters in Hangzhou, as well as had meetings with other possible business co-operation partners.
