Visit of the Latvia Post (Latvijas Pasts) Delegation to China

On 9 March at the Latvian Embassy in Beijing Ambassador Kārlis Eihenbaums held a meeting with Delegation of the Latvia Post: Mr Kristiāns Godiņš, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International Services Business Unit and Mr Armands Znotiņš, Head of E-Commerce and Logistics Operations. Ambassador Eihenbaums informed about developments in relations between Latvia and China and expressed support for the development of bilateral economic relations, especially in the rapidly growing sphere of e-commerce.

Ambassador Eihenbaums and representatives of the Latvia Post met with the leadership of the State Post Bureau of China and the Director of the European Affairs Department of the Ministry of Commerce of China. On 10 March Ambassador and Delegation visited the JD Group (JD.com) headquarters in Beijing.

Representatives of the Latvia Post visited Temu in Shanghai, where they signed further co-operation documents and visited the Alibaba Group (AliExpress) headquarters in Hangzhou, as well as had meetings with other possible business co-operation partners.
