Latvia’s Ambassador Agnese Kalniņa presents her credentials to the President of Slovenia
On 29 June 2021 in Ljubljana, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia, Agnese Kalniņa, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor.
The accreditation ceremony at the Presidential Palace was followed by a meeting and a conversation with the President on the topics of current importance in the political, economic and security dialogue between the two countries. The Slovenian President was also interested in Latvia’s domestic political processes and in what has been achieved to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of her accreditation visit, the Ambassador of Latvia, Agnese Kalniņa, also met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Slovenia, Igor Zorčič, and the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gašper Dovžan, as well as the Honorary Consul of Latvia in Slovenia, Luka Brezovec.
The Ambassador of Latvia to Slovenia, Agnese Kalniņa, resides in Budapest, Hungary.
