The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has devised an Electronic Register of Apostilles, where the fact of certification with Apostille by the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can be checked by entering the number and date of issue of an apostille (issued until June 30, 2019).
Both private individuals and foreign authorities can use the register when they need to verify the authenticity of an Apostille.
As from July 1, 2019 certification of public documents with Apostille will be carried out by sworn notaries.
