Ambassador of Latvia to Moldova H.E. Uldis Mikuts and the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration exchanged views on the settlement process of the Transnistrian conflict

Today, on December 8, the Ambassador of Latvia to Moldova H.E. Uldis Mikuts met the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari. Both sides exchanged views and discussed priorities of Moldova in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process.  

The Ambassador confirmed support of Latvia to the efforts to resolve the conflict through peaceful dialogue, fully respecting territorial integrity and sovereignty of Moldova, within its internationally recognised borders. Ambassador emphasised importance of 5+2 format as the main framework for reaching practical results and advancing the dialogue.
