The NB8 countries will contribute to strengthening the institutional resilience of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova

On 22 September 2025, the Nordic-Baltic Eight countries - Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden – launched a joint project to enhance the institutional resilience of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova. The project entails the strengthening of cybersecurity capabilities of the institution and for the modernization of the crisis management infrastructure. The NB8 support to this project is based on a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the NB8 Ministers of Foreign Affairs during their previous visit to the Republic of Moldova on 15 October 2024. The project will be implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and is expected to be completed by 2028.
