Ambassador Kaspars Ozoliņš visits Petawawa military base

On June 6, at Petawawa military base, Ambassador of Latvia Kaspars Ozoliņš and Defence Attaché, Colonel Igors Kļaviņš took part in a farewell ceremony to Canadian soldiers heading to Latvia on regular rotation to the NATO battle group at the Ādaži military base. The rotation is lead by Lt. Col Daniel Vincent.

In his address to Canadian soldiers, Ambassador Ozoliņš stressed Canada's contribution as a framework nation of NATO eFP combat group in Latvia and wished success in their service.
