New Honorary Consulate of Latvia opened in Istanbul - Türkiye

On 21 October 2024 the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Istanbul was officially opened. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia H.E. Ms Baiba Braže attended the inauguration ceremony of the Latvian Honorary Consulate in Istanbul. 

Mr Vehbi Serkan Kaptan become the new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia in Istanbul.

Latvia now has 7 Honorary Consulates in Türkiye who provides support to Latvians and the Embassy.
