On 26 February 2025 the Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Mr Bahtijors Hasans, met with the Governor of Adana, Mr Yavuz Selim Köşger, the Mayor of Seyhan, Ms Oya Tekin and the Deputy Mayor of Yüregir, Ms Rukiye Çinkılıç. During the meeting with the Governor of Adana promotion of the economic relations and cooperation between Latvia and Türkiye were discussed.
On 27 February 2025 the Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Mr Bahtijors Hasans, met with the Chairman of the Adana Chamber of İndurstry, Mr Zeki Kıvanç, the Chairman of the Adana Chamber of Commerce, Mr Yücel Bayram and the Rector of Çukurova University, Prof.Dr. Hamit Emrah Beriş. During the meeting with the Chairman of Chamber of Industry and Commerce the promotion of the economic relations and information about the oppourtunities of the investment in Latvia was provided to the Turkish side. With the Rector of Çukurova University academic cooperation and student and academic personel exchange programmes were discussed.
