The Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Mr Bahtijors Hasans joined the opening of the “Ebru. Tradition and Contemporary Expression” exhibition which took place in the Independent Art Foundation’s exhibition hall in Istanbul.
The exhibition brings togeather works of Latvian Ebru artists Dzintra Žvingule, Natālija Jumiķe, Ilze Krāģe and Turkish Ebru artist Özden Aydın. The exhibition opening was accompanied by live music and an open ebru master class took place. Visitors were invited not only to view completed works but also to engage directly with the creative process.
Works will be exhibited till 28 of February.
