Between 26 and 28 June 2026 Eskil Salt Lake (Eskil Tuz Gölü) Culture and Toruism Festival took place. At the festival Latvia was represented by the Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Mr Bahtijors Hasans, Mr Didzis Jeremics as well as the Latvian “EBRU” artists Ms Leila Buļa, Ms Dzintra Žvingule, Ms Ilze Krāģe, Ms Natālija Jumiķe, Ms Līga Liepa and the art photographer Mr Dainis Žvingulis and Mr Helmuts Buļs.
Latvian stand attracted the attention of the visitors with the contemporary “Ebru” art, Latvian folk songs, traditional dances and the Latvian delicious candies. Latvian artists showed their professional skills at the Masterclass. During the festival for the full 3 days the visitors had the opportunity to try to make “Ebru” art by them selves.
The photo exhibition “The Secrets of Amber” of the Latvian photo artist Andris Zēgners was exibited at the festival area.
Latvians attracted attention of the Turkish media members and social media bloggers. The Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Mr Bahtijors Hasans had multiple interviews with the Turkish media.
