Ambassador participates in the visit of the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa to Lithuania

On 6 October 2023, the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa visited Lithuania and Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Solveiga Silkalna was part of the delegation.

The Speaker of the Saeima met with the Speaker of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, the leader of the group of Members of Seimas for the promotion of cooperation with the Latvian Parliament Kęstutis Masiulis and the members of the group, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis.

D. Mieriņa also visited the Latvian Embassy, ​​met with the Embassy staff and discussed current affairs in bilateral relations between Latvia and Lithuania. The Speaker of the Saeima also signed the Embassy's guest book.
