Ambassador participates in the visit of the Prime Minister Evika Siliņa to Lithuania

On 17 October 2023, Prime Minister Evika Siliņa visited Lithuania on working visit and Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Solveiga Silkalna participated as part of the delegation.

Latvian Prime Minister met with the Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė and discussed cooperation in strengthening the security of the region, further support for Ukraine, the situation on the external borders of the European Union, energy and transport infrastructure projects, as well as cooperation in the economy and other areas.

Evika Siliņa also visited the Embassy of Latvia and met with the Embassy staff. The Prime Minister also signed the Embassy's guest book.
