Ambassadors of the Baltic and Nordic countries meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis

On 19 October 2023, Ambassador of Latvia Solveiga Silkalna held a meeting of the Ambassadors of the Nordic and Baltic countries in Lithuania with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania visited the Embassy of Latvia in Vilnius for the first time.

G. Landsbergis and the Ambassadors of Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland in Lithuania discussed security situation in the region, the situation in the Middle East, domestic political affairs in Lithuania and expressed their continuous support for Ukraine.

The group of Baltic and Nordic countries (Nordic-Baltic Eight - NB8) is a regional cooperation format of like-minded countries, in which Latvia will preside in 2023.
