Ambassador takes part in the visit of the Minister of Climate and Energy Kaspars Melnis to Lithuania

On 27 October 2023, Minister of Climate and Energy Kaspars Melnis visited Vilnius and Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia Solveiga Silkalna participated as part of the delegation.

The Minister of Climate and Energy participated in the Energy Forum in Vilnius, expressing Latvia’s position on the security of energy supply and the advantages of the Baltic States in strengthening energy independence, as well as on the growth potential of electricity exports and the opportunities of green hydrogen in Latvia. Minister also met with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania Dainius Kreivys.

K. Melnis also visited the Embassy of Latvia and met with the Embassy staff.
