Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna meets with Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kęstutis Navickas

On 22 April 2024 Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna met with the Minister of Agriculture of Lithuania Kęstutis Navickas.

Ambassador S.Silkalna emphasized close cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania, cooperation within the framework of the Baltic States, as well as the unwavering support for Ukraine. Minister K. Navickas expressed his gratitude for the successful cooperation, especially at the Ministerial level meeting of Ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, Sweden and Finland in the "3+3" format. During the meeting with the Minister, issues of grain import from Russia, as well as higher tariffs for import of agricultural products from Russia and Belarus, were also discussed.
