Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna meets with Minister of Justice of Lithuania

On 30 April 2024, Ambassador of Latvia Solveiga Silkalna met with Lithuania's Minister of Justice Ewelina Dobrowolska.

During the meeting, joint initiatives of Latvia and Lithuania to support Ukraine, as well as judical measures, were discussed. Minister E. Dobrowolska emphasized the need to establish a speacial tribunal as soon as possible to ensure criminal responsibility for Russia's aggression against Ukraine, as well as close cooperation to resolve the transfer of Russian frozen assets to support Ukraine.
