Ambassador meets with Minister of Health of Lithuania

On 3 June 2024, Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna met with the Minister of Health of Lithuania Arūnas Dulkys.

Minister A. Dulkys praised the close cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania in the fields of health care and medicine, especially the active cooperation between the experts of the Ministries' of Health of Latvia and Lithuania. During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the Baltic States in the field of health, as well as support to Ukraine in strengthening its health system, were also discussed. Minister highly appretiated Latvia's progress in the reforms of emergency medical care, which inspires Lithuania in its reform process.
