Speaker of the Saeima Visits Lithuania on the Centenary of the Song Festival

On July 6, 2024, Speaker of the Saeima, Daiga Mieriņa, paid a working visit to Vilnius to participate in the closing concert of the Lithuanian Song Festival, which celebrated its centenary in 2024.  "I am honored to participate in such an important event for our sister Lithuania! Our countries are united not only by a border and a similar history, but also by the Balts' identity, common values ​​and traditions. The celebration of the Song Festival shows how actively our neighbors nurture their traditions, thus strengthening their national spirit and patriotism through singing and dancing", remarked the Speaker.
