Ambassador takes part in Health Minister's Visit and Meets Local Latvians in Joniškis

On July 11, 2024, Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna visited Joniškis, where she took part in in the working visit of the Health Minister Hosam Abu Meri to Lithuania. Minister Abu Meri met with his Lithuanian Counterpart, Arūnas Dulkys, and signed an agreement on cross-border cooperation in the provision of emergency aid, as well as visited the Joniškis Hospital and Joniškis Primary Care Centre.

The Ambassador also paid a visit to the Jonas Avyžius Public Library of Joniškis District Municipality and met with the local Latvians who live in Joniškis.
