"Nameja balva 2024" awarded to the most successful Latvian companies and cooperation partners in Lithuania

On 26 September 2024, "Nameja balva 2024" award ceremony was held in Vilnius. This year the event began by a panel discussion on the economic cooperation of Latvia and Lithuania where representative of "King Coffee Service" Domas Balandis and the representative of "Sons and Daughters" Dovilė Dovidavičiūtė took part. LIAA representative Līga Gablika made a presentation about the joint pavilion of Latvia and Lithuania at EXPO 2025 in Japan.

After a short break, this year the tradition of "Nameja balva" was renewed and the award was presented for the 14th time. This award is an excellent proof of the close economic cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania. The award winners were awarded with Nameja ring and a diploma. The event was opened and awards were presented by Ivita Burmistre, Under-Secretary of State for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, and Karolis Žemaitis, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania.

Winners of "Nameja balva 2024":

• The fastest increase in production exports to Lithuania in 2023 -  winner "Jāņa sēta"
• The fastest growth of service exports to Lithuania in 2023 - winner "Elektrum Lietuva"
• The most socially responsible company of 2023 - the largest provider of support to Ukraine - winner "Likmere"
• The best partner - Lithuanian company (3 nominations) - winners "Arijus UAB", "R.Baltruno imone" and "Sareme"

"Nameja balva" competition is organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania in cooperation with the Latvian Embassy in Lithuania and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We would like to thank all the companies that applied for "Nameja balva" this year, as well as the companies that contribute to the strengthening of economic relations between Latvia and Lithuania. We invite entrepreneurs to apply for "Nameja balva 2025" competition, which will be announced next spring.
