Embassy Hosts a Networking Event for Women Ambassadors in Vilnius

On 12 February 2025, the embassy hosted a networking event for women ambassadors in Vilnius to learn about the work of association Lydere.  The association unites more than 300 Lithuanian women business leaders, who offer mentoring and propose practical and legal steps to policy makers to improve gender equality.  In the discussion we exchanged observations about women’s experiences and challenges both in the public and private sector, combining work with family life and fighting for equal pay and equal career opportunities.
