
Representatives of the Latvian real estate organization LANĪDA visited Embassy

On 12 May 2025, representatives of the Latvian real estate organization LANĪDA visited Embassy. LANĪDA prepresentatives visited Vilnius from May 12-13 and met with representatives of Lithuanian real estate associations to establish international contacts.
LANĪDA is also actively expanding its activities outside Latvia to promote the exchange of experience of LANĪDA members outside Latvia and establish international contacts. The purpose of foreign visits is to promote the development and growth of the real estate industry in Latvia, attracting new investors, and also to provide its clients with opportunities to choose property outside Latvia. So far, LANĪDA members have visited Lithuania, Estonia, Taiwan, Luxembourg, Cyprus, Ireland, and Germany during their experience exchange visits. Over the past few years, LANĪDA members have visited Georgia several times, been to Azerbaijan, Greece, and Spain, participated in real estate conferences, met with developers and real estate associations, got acquainted with new projects, and established contacts for long-term cooperation.
During the meeting at the Embassy, issues of Lithuania's domestic policy, economy, defense and investment attraction were discussed with the Ambassador. Vitaly Markūns, Executive Director of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, and Jeļena Markūne, Representative of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lithuania, also participated in the conversation to share valuable experience on the specifics of the Lithuanian real estate market.
