Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna met with Speaker of the Seimas Juozas Olekas

On 6 November 2025, Ambassador Solveiga Silkalna met with the Speaker of the Seimas Juozas Olekas.

During the meeting, the Speaker of the Seimas J. Olekas and Ambassador S. Silkalna discussed current issues of cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania. One of the topics was the adoption of next year's state budgets' in both parliaments. Strengthening defense, Rail Baltica and Via Baltica were highlighted as the most important issues of regional cooperation.
