Ambassadors of Latvia and Estonia met with Minister of Transport of Lithuania

On 12 November 2025, after the joint initiative of Latvia and Estonia, Ambassadors Solveiga Silkalna and Kaili Terras met with the Minister of Transport of Lithuania Juras Taminskas. Ambassadors and  Minister discussed the regional transport infrastructure projects Rail Baltica and Via Baltica, and the progress achieved. Latvian Ambassador emphasized that the construction of Rail Baltica in Latvia is starting in the southern direction at the Misa-Lithuanian border section. During the meeting, communications issues, which are the responsibility of Minister of Transport, were also discussed.
