Traditional meeting at the Embassy with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania and entrepreneurs

On 14 January 2026, the Embassy held a traditional and already good tradition meeting with representatives of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and entrepreneurs from "Likmere", "Grifs AG", "Sakret", "Grant Thornton Baltic", "West Express" and "Fortek" to discuss cooperation projects in 2026, the most significant of which is the "Nameja Award", which is annually presented to the most successful Latvian entrepreneurs and cooperation partners in Lithuania.

"Nameja Award" is a great example of the close economic cooperation between Latvia and Lithuania. This competition is organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania in close cooperation with the Latvian Embassy and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2025, the "Nameja Award" was presented already for the 15th time.

In 2025, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania celebrated its 20th anniversary, since the start of its activities, providing support to Latvian entrepreneurs in the Lithuanian market.
