Nordic-Baltic meeting with Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius

On 20 July 2026, ambassadors and embassy representatives from the Nordic-Baltic countries in Vilnius met with Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius.

Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius emphasized that a strong Nordic-Baltic partnership is the foundation of regional security. "The Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) is a format that proves its value and is essential for more effectively defending our region's interests—ranging from strengthening defense and ensuring security in the Baltic Sea to energy resilience, support for Ukraine, and countering hybrid threats, " said Prime Minister.

During the meeting also regional security issues, infrastructure projects, and the region's economic growth were discussed.
