A series of posters about Latvia prepared by the Latvian Institute in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia and the Latvian Tourism Development Agency. The Republic of Latvia was founded in 1918. Its state symbols have survived through a century of nation building, wars, occupations and liberations. They embody the history, culture and values of those who have lived here by the Baltic Sea for thousands of years. The oak tree, amber, water and land are just some of the many natural symbols that appear in Latvian designs and decorations.

All the information materials prepared by the Latvian Institute in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can be freely distributed, cited, transmitted and used for informative purposes in the representation and educational events devoted to Latvia. Reference to the Latvian Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is obligatory.
