Embassy welcomes the Estonian delegation

On April 10, the Latvian Embassy in India welcomed the Estonian consular officials in the framework of regional training. At the beginning of the meeting, H.E. Ambassador of Latvia to India Juris Bone delivered introductory remarks. The meeting held a valuable exchange of experience among consular officials of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia on immigration trends from the South Asian region to the European Union, including on current trends in document fraud.

This kind of exchange of experience is very valuable in preventing the threat of illegal immigration into the Schengen area, including the Baltic region.
