On 5 and 6 March 2026 the Ambassador of Latvia, H.E. Mr Bahtijors Hasans paid a regional visit to Bursa. During the visit the Ambassador had meetings with the local government authorities, head of municipalities and business organizations. A visit to multiple “Hi-Tech” factories was paid at the newly built “eco-friendly” industrial zone TEKNOSAB. Cooperation in economics, education, investment opportunities in Latvia as well as cooperation between the municipalities was discussed with the Turkish authorities. Advantages of the Latvian ecosystem and investment oppourtunities in Latvia were presented to the authorities and business institutions of Bursa.
