Submission of visa applications and entry into the Republic of Latvia*
From 24 July 2023 Visa Applications should be submitted at the VFS GLOBAL Visa Centres.
Acceptance of documents at the VFS GLOBAL Visa Centers is by prior appointment only. More detailed information can be found at the VFS GLOBAL website here

VFS GLOBAL Visa Centres:
Almati: Timiryazev 28V, office 104, ALATAU GRAND business centre
Astana: Kabanbayi-batyr 6/1, office 111, KASKAD business centre
* Persons holding passports of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan for short term (Schengen) visas to travel to Latvia and persons with Kazakhstan passports travelling to Sweden, as well as persons holding passports of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and requiring national (D) visas, should submit their documents in the visa centres, as it is mentioned above. Please be aware that registration for document submission at the VFS GLOBAL visa centres is FREE OF CHARGE.
Every person registering at the visa centre, should register individually, sign with his/ her full name, working phone number and existing e-mail address. Individuals deciding to use authomatic systems and/ or services of middlemen (e.g. travel companies, private helpers, etc. offering visa services) should take a full responsibility of these actions, as the Embassy do not provide any authorisation to these entities, except the visa centres mentioned here.
