Latvian movie "January" shown in Dhaka

Celebrating cinematic diversity and creativity, the European Union (EU) in Bangladesh has launched a four-day 'European Film Festival 2025' from 4-7 December. Under the theme 'In Transition' the festival highlights the stories of personal, societal and environmental change. With a support of the Embassy of Latvia in India, the Latvian movie "January" was shown on 5 December at Alliance Francaise in Dhaka. Students, civil society members, film enthusiasts were present at the demonstration of the movie. Founded in 1985, the European Film Festival celebrates the diversity and creativity of European cinema worldwide.
