Latvian Embassy participates in the European Christmas Brunch

On 13 December, the Latvian Embassy participated in the European Food exhibition “European Christmas brunch” organised by the Hungarian Cultural Centre in Delhi in collaboration with the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH).

The Latvian grey peas with bacon were among the European Christmas lunch dishes prepared by students of the Hospitality school.

Before the event, on December 3, under the direction of representatives of the Embassy of Latvia, students learned the preparation of grey peas with becon. Counsellor Ms Inga Skruzmane introduced students to the rich cultural life of Latvia, the love of singing and dancing, as well as demonstrated the linguistic similarities of Latvian language with Sanskrit.
