The internship Program at the Latvian Embassy in Prague is open to prospective students and will provide you with an opportunity to work for a period of at least three months in our embassy with flexible hours to accommodate your academic goals. With this internship, you will gain exposure not only to Latvian foreign policy goals, but also to our values, and learn the ways how Embassy conducts its daily work.
You will be assigned duties that include research, economic and political report writing, correspondence, analysis of international issues, consular work, administrative and work with social networks. You will be recruited to do interesting work and have your own projects.
Eligibility:
Only a student, who is eligible to participate in the internship program, including any non-host-country foreign nationals who are legal resident students of Czechia.
To participate, a student must be:
- At least 18 years of age at the time of appointment,
- A student must be enrolled, not less than half-time, in a college, university or other accredited educational institution,
- The student must be in good academic standing,
- Applicant must have strong English language skills (Latvian language skill is a bonus).

The internship beginning date is flexible, but presumably in September.
