Study Latvian and Lithuanian in Sweden
Stockholm University offers fully accredited courses leading to academic degrees—Bachelors, Masters, PhD—in Baltic languages.
No previous knowledge of Latvian or Lithuanian is required for Beginner level studies, which are geared to practical language acquisition. Special courses (held in Swedish) are also offered in Baltic Literature and Baltic Culture Studies.
The Section for Baltic Languages, a part of the Department of Baltic Languages, Finnish and German, is located in the main building (Södra huset) of Stockholm University, House E on floor 9.

A number study organizations providing adult education (ABF, Folkuniversitetet, Medborgarskolan, Studiefrämjandet, etc.) will arrange courses in Latvian and Lithuanian, if a sufficient number of students sign up.
