Ambassador of Latvia Kaspars Ozoliņš participates in the farewell ceremony of Canadian soldiers in Edmonton

On December 3, in Edmonton (Alberta), Latvian Ambassador Kaspars Ozoliņš and Defense Attaché Colonel Igors Kļaviņš participated in the farewell ceremony of soldiers of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Brigade named after Princess Patricia at the Edmonton military base. Ambassador Ozoliņš addressed the soldiers of the brigade before the flight to Latvia, where they will take a part in a 6-month rotation at the NATO eFP battle group (Ādaži military base).

At the military base, the ambassador and the defense attaché met with the commander of the 1st Mechanized Brigade Group R.P. Bourque (Col R.P. Bourque, CD) and Canadian Armed Forces Major J. Miller.
