Baltic and Nordic short film screenings in Ottawa

On 10 October, the short films from the Baltic and Nordic countries will be screened at the ByTowne theatre, Ottawa. BRIGHT NIGHT: Baltic-Nordic Short films is this year's addition to the annual Baltic-Nordic Film Festival.

The program includes 8 unique films (animation, documentary and feature) offering to witness the cinematographic talents from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.   "Sacrificial Lamb" is a feature short film from Latvia, directed by Uģis Olte, created by VFS Films.

The screenings start at 6 pm, doors open at 5:30 pm. Tickets are available at www.bytowne.ca or in-person. 

The event is presented at the ByTowne Theatre in collaboration with the Embassies of the Baltic and Nordic nations. The Embassy of Latvia expresses its gratitude to film studio VFS Films and the National Film Centre of Latvia.
