Latvia presented at the Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show 2026

On 11 and 13 April, the Embassy of Latvia took part in the annual Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show. 

Throughout the weekend, the visitors had an opportunity to learn of Latvia’s history, traditions and explore Latvia as a modern and welcoming travel destination in Europe. A wide selection of printed materials in English and also French offered a glimpse of jewels of the Latvian countryside, Riga Art Nouveau architecture. The visitors were interested to learn of active tourism options and discover new culinary experiences.

The visitors also had a chance to take a quiz to discover Latvia and taste sweets from legendary chocolatier Laima. 

The Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show annually gathers around 100 local and international exhibitors and attracts more than 10 000 visitors.
