Andrejs Pildegovičs
From July 2007-July 2012 he served as Latvia's Ambassador to the U.S. Prior his appoinment as Ambassador, Mr. Pildegovičs served as Chief of Staff to President of Latvia Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga. Currently Mr. Pildegovičs is the State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.

Māris Riekstiņš
From November 2007 to April 2010 Ambassador Riekstinš served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, he also served as Latvia's Ambassador to the U.S. from December 2004 - January 2007. He has also been State Secretary in Latvia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Latvia's Ambassador to Mexico and Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, Latvia's Ambassador to NATO in Brussels. He is currently Latvia's Ambassador to the Russian Federation.

Aivis Ronis
Aivis Ronis was Latvia's Ambassador to the U.S. from June 2000 to September 2004. He also served as Latvia's Ambassador to Mexico, from 2002 to 2004. In 2010 he served as Latvia's Minister of Foreign Affairs and from October 2011-March 2013 as Latvia’s Minister of Transport.

Ambassador Kalniņš served as the Ambassador to the U.S. and Mexico from 1993-1999. He is currently a member of Latvia's Parliament and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Anatols Dinbergs
Head of the Latvian foreign and consular service September, 1971-September 1991, also Charge d'Affaires and Head of the Latvian Legation in Washington, DC, Consul General in the USA. Dinbergs was appointed Latvia's first ambassador to the United Nations and subsequently Latvia's first ambassador to the United States.
