Reverend Juris Rubenis, whose books outsell John Grisham and Stephen King in his native country of Latvia, will be touring in the United States to promote his new book, Finding God in a Tangled World

If you live in the Greater D.C. area, please come and meet Juris on Saturday, November 17 at The Power Plant Barnes & Noble in Baltimore, MD. This will be a time of question and answer, and booksigning. The event coincides well with Latvian Independence Day which is on November 18th.

Juris Rubenis is a Lutheran pastor and the bestselling author in Latvia. He was one of Latvia's most outspoken religious leaders against oppression in the 1980's and early 1990's, and is considered a national hero in his homeland.

Finding God in a Tangled World is a translated masterpiece of wisdom in which Rubenis shares parables and short wisdom sayings stemming from a clarity that comes from having survived religious persecution.
