Movie to be part of Kids Eurofestival in Washington, DC

The Latvian movie "Little Robbers" (Mazie laupītāji) will be part of the Kids Eurofestival in Washington, DC.

The movie will be shown on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Avalon Theater, 5612 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC.

The movie will also be shown at the Latvian Center in Rockville on Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 p.m. (for more information regarding this event, please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Mr. Martins Slisans, Project Director, will be present at both screenings.

Can you honestly swear that at least once in your life you have not thought that robbing a bank is a good idea? Especially, if you’re five years old and that bank has just thrown your parents out of a brand new apartment because your father has lost his job.

The 2009 film is in Latvian with English subtitles, and recommended for ages 8 and above. Admission: free
